Dr. Cannon received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2021 from Stockton University, where she competed on the track and field team. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2024 from Jefferson University in Philadelphia. During her time in Philly, she participated in research for the use of blood flow restriction therapy for treating different musculoskeletal conditions. Her clinical rotations included Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia and James A. Haley VA in Tampa, FL. She spent time in Zacapa, Guatemala treating various neurological and musculoskeletal conditions in rural communities for all patient populations.
Professionally, Dr. Cannon kickstarted her career as an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Resident at James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa, FL. She obtained extensive experience treating Veterans in the outpatient and primary care settings, as well as in specialized programs for chronic pain, prosthetic gait training, and post-concussion syndrome. In 2025, Dr. Cannon joined the Physical Therapy Works and Responsive Physical Therapy team, continuing her passion for orthopaedic treatment and overall wellness.
In her free time, she leads an active lifestyle of running, paddle boarding, and snow boarding that is balanced by quality time with a good book and her dogs
